Hi, I’m Harman!
My Approach to Therapy:
I believe the foundation of a strong therapeutic relationship is trust, compassion, and feeling genuinely heard. I strive to create a warm, welcoming, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel comfortable sharing openly at their own pace. Every client brings their own experiences, strengths, and goals, so I take the time to get to know each individual and tailor my approach to meet their unique needs. It is important to me that clients leave each session feeling heard, supported, and understood.
What Sets Me Apart:
I currently work as a high school teacher, where I have built meaningful relationships with students and their families. Through those experiences, I have gained a better understanding of the academic, social, and personal challenges many young people face, as well as the concerns parents often have as they support their children. As someone who comes from a South Asian background, I also understand how culture, family expectations, and identity can shape a person's experiences. I strive to bring that understanding into my work by creating a space where clients feel respected, understood, and supported.
What I Like to Do On My Free Time:
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, working out, reading books, trying new restaurants, and being creative through makeup and cooking. I also enjoy learning new things and continuing to grow, both personally and professionally. I believe making time for the things that bring me joy helps me stay grounded and be more present in both my personal life and my work.
